Q-Sex News Do You Carey? Los Angeles, CA: Sporting new breasts and draped in a cream-colored, ankle-length gown, porn star Mary Carey, who gained worldwide fame running for California governor in 2003, set out on Wednesday to do what she could not three years ago, beat Arnold Schwarzenegger. " I think I'm more serious now," Carey said as she arrived at a Los Angeles County elections office to launch her 2006 gubernatorial campaign. "As you can see I'm dressed more seriously. I've got brown in my hair because brunettes are taken more seriously." The pornstar said her campaign had already hit a snag because she had collected only about 40 of the 164,000 signatures required to register as an independent candidate. Undaunted, Carey said she would enter the race as a write-in candidate and barnstorm across California colleges in a "shock the vote" tour aimed at her core constituency: young men. Carey, who announced in December that she had lost weight, replaced her teeth and acquired new, size 36-D breasts, drew a throng of photographers and gawkers as she entered the building, inspiring one man to call out: "Mary, you're thinner!" The porn star responded: "Thank you. Smoking cigarettes and quitting birth control." Carey's platform includes getting the FBI to "leave porn stars alone" and concentrate on the war with Iraq and said that if elected she, like Schwarzenegger, would put her film career on hold while she served as governor. "Although my movies only take a day or two to shoot, so I could probably do them on weekends," she said. Oh she is a brunette now... White House lookout! ~ $2.00 Bob ![]() ![]() 8/09/2006
Q-News Bust Prostitution Arrest Round-Up East Coast Style Pennsylvania: North Whitehall, PA: Two New Jersey women are under arrest for prostitution that allegedly occurred at the Shiatsu Spa in North Whitehall Township, state police said. Sun Cha Chon, 51, and Young Hee Hye, 43, both of Cresskill, were charged after an investigation of the spa at 3752 Route 309, police said. Acting on a tip, police began their investigation in May and on July 27 served a search warrant on the spa, the news release said. Chon was charged with running a house of prostitution and prostitution. Hye was charged for prostitution. State police at the Bethlehem barracks said the investigation is continuing. New Jersey: South Plainfield, NJ: A 42-year-old New York woman was arrested on Monday in the latest crackdown on day spas in the borough. Police received information regarding illegal activity at the Green Day Spa on Park Avenue. On Monday, police entered the spa and arrested Li Ping Feng of Flushing, NY., an employee at the spa. Feng was charged with prostitution, police said. She was taken to the Middlesex County Adult Correction Center in North Brunswick in lieu of $2,500 bail. Maryland: Annapolis, MD: Anne Arundel County police have arrested four people in an investigation into high-priced prostitutes who allegedly have been advertising on a popular Internet site. Investigators caught the women after reading ads posted on Craigslist that offered services for $140 to $300. Police said the suspected prostitutes were arrested in the past three weeks at hotels near Baltimore-Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport and charged with illegally soliciting sex. Police said that the prostitutes arrange several weeks' worth of appointments in advance, then fly into a city to meet with clients. They then travel to their next destination. Experts said Craigslist classifieds have become a favorite way for prostitutes to find clients and set up operations in cities where they don't have a network. A spokeswoman for Anne Arundel County State's Attorney Frank R. Weathersbee said Internet prostitution in the county is unusual. One of the women arrested in Anne Arundel, Ashley Smith, 20, of Washington, said she works independently and doesn't have a pimp. An undercover officer arrested her at the Holiday Inn in Linthicum on July 19. Smith, who also goes by the names Ashley Price, Jessica Price and Sarah, advertises exclusively on Craigslist because it is free. It is also effective. Smith said she gets as many as 30 calls a day from a single ad. She said she has been in the sex trade for two years and earns between $10,000 and $30,000 a month. Another of the arrested woman, Emily Earlene Fritz, 18, of Costa Mesa, Calif., was arrested Aug. 1 at the Hilton Garden Inn near BWI (website - news) , according to the documents. She charged $150, according to the documents. Kelly Nicole West, 20, of Laurel, was arrested at a Motel 6 in that community after an undercover officer gave her $140 for "full service," according to the charging documents. The fourth woman, 26-year-old Carlena Monite Perry of Schaumburg, Ill., was arrested July 19. Your tax dollars at work... ~ $2.00 Bob ![]() 8/08/2006
Q-Sex News Porn... It's What's For Dinner! Carrollton, LA: A 30-year-old New Orleans man was captured Sunday after a Carrollton homeowner walked in to find him watching pornography on the Internet, New Orleans police said. He's also suspected in a string of recent burglaries in the neighborhood, police said. Richard Barnes, who police said crawled through the doggy door of a home in the 1200 block of Lowerline Street, was caught Sunday by the home's owner after she returned from an afternoon outing, police said. The woman unlocked her front door, walked in and almost immediately encountered Barnes masturbating while online, police said. The frightened homeowner grabbed her oversized dog and bolted from the house. Once outside, she phoned 2nd District police. Officers arrived, took the woman's description of the burglar and headed into the neighborhood. Barnes, described by police as a "career criminal with arrests for mostly drugs and burglary," was arrested a few blocks away. At lockup Barnes consented to a DNA swab test, New Orleans police spokeswoman Sabrina Richardson said. She said investigators will now test it against a semen specimen at the burglarized home. It may not be the only home Barnes broke into, police said. Richardson said 2nd District investigators have tentatively linked him to a string of other burglaries in the neighborhood, where residents have seen a man resembling Barnes lurking. Richardson said many residents in that part of town don't lock their doors at night or when running errands, and that Barnes would go house to house twisting knobs. "That is his (mode of operation)," Richardson said. "There was no forced entry. In that area, some people have dogs, large dogs, and in this case he came through a doggy door. In some of the others, he just tries twisting knobs." Police believe Barnes may be involved in at least 10 recent break-ins in the area. "Our investigators were very excited" about this arrest, Barnes said. "It's like seeing your hard work come to light. It's a very rewarding feeling. And it's not to often that you have that feeling." Investigators apparently were not the only ones very excited, sounds like the knob twister was as well! ~ $2.00 Bob ![]() 8/07/2006
Q-News Bust Looking For A Date? Be Careful! Kansas City, KS: Police say word is spreading quickly through the streets of Kansas City, Kansas, that sex for money will earn a person a set of handcuffs after police launched a sting that lasted from Friday night into early Saturday. On a street corner, an undercover police officer acting as a prostitute clocks in for another night. "Looking for a date, looking for a good time are you," the officer asks a potential suspect. Police Captain Michael Webb says the sting is effective. "We're putting out police decoys and they're being approached by individuals, they're making offers to purchase sex for money," Webb says. This process netted 17 men for patronizing a prostitute, one woman for prostitution and one person for marijuana possession. Sixteen vehicles were towed as a result. Officers used a makeshift operation center to do the processing. "Any act they're committing, especially trying to patronize a prostitute, we're going to take them to jail for that, tow their car (and) try to get the stiffest penalty we can from the courts." Police launch prostitution stings at least four times a year. They say with each one they hope to paralyze not just prostitution, but all crime. "We want the quality of life to be improved," Webb says. "We don't want prostitution to be taking place on the streets in KCK. (We) do our best to alleviate that problem." Police turn their cases on each individual arrested over to the Wyandotte County District Attorney. Who is "we?" ~ $2.00 Bob ![]() 8/05/2006
Q-Sex News Everything Is Big In Texas Arlington, TX: With a new school year about to begin, some female students in one Texas school district may have to rethink their wardrobes. Teen fashions often leave parents a little disgruntled. Arlington Independent School District parent Frances Henson said, "I'm thinking that our daughters are growing up a little bit too fast these days." Arlington School Board members agree with parents and this summer, they adopted an unusual amendment to the student dress code. The new dress code reads, in part, "The display of cleavage is unacceptable. Low cut blouses, tops, sweaters, etc. with plunging necklines are not allowed." "It's gotten bad enough that, unfortunately, our young males are looking at more than their English book, their speech book, their science book," says school board president Sherri Wade. "And it's kind of nice to have something left to the imagination." Even some teenagers agree there is a problem. "I think it's good that they're doing it," said student, Tyler Edwards. Others students say it makes back-to-school shopping more difficult. "I just have to be more careful with what shirts I buy. Change my style a little," said student, Maria Lopez. While most parents support the new rule, some worry that enforcing it could be a challenge. "I think that's going to be a little tricky, because it puts a little bit of a policeman approach to the educators, and they really need to focus more on teaching," said Tom Pederson, AISD parent. The school board president says they'll do both… and in time, she says, the no cleavage rule will be no problem. Just teach the fucking kids! If they spent half as much time on the curriculum and not the wardrobe, the kids would all be Einstein's! What's next banning the tight sweater?!?! ~ $2.00 Bob ![]() 8/03/2006
Q-Sex News Sex-Starved Wife Frankfort, GERMANY: Police in the German city of Aachen received an unusual call for help late on Wednesday when a woman telephoned to complain her husband was not fulfilling his sexual obligations. After the couple had been sleeping in separate beds for several months without intimate contact, the 44-year-old woman woke the husband, 45, in the middle of the night and demanded he satisfy her needs, police spokesman Paul Kemen said on Thursday. When her advances were refused, a row (Fight) broke out and she called the police and asked them to intervene, he added. "The police officials did not feel able to resolve the dispute, let alone issue any kind of official order," Kemen said. "And because no crime or infringement could be identified, all they could do was file a report in case intervention might be required at a later date," he added. Q-News Bust House OF Ill Repute Bracey, VA: Police arrested two women on prostitution-related charges Friday at a building that many locals have long deemed a "house of ill repute." Margaret Townsend, 39, of Mansfield, Ohio, and Teresa McFarland, 46, of Bracey were arrested by the Mecklenburg County Sheriff's Department from the "Keep on Trucking Lounge" at 3230 Highway 903 following a month of investigation by the Virginia State Police, the Internal Revenue Service and the Sheriff's Office. Investigator Chris Whittemore said both were charged with the felony of knowingly receiving money or some other valuable thing from the earnings of a person engaged in prostitution and a misdemeanor charge of prostitution. Other charges are pending, according to a press release from the Sheriff's Office. Whittemore said McFarland ran the establishment. Officials did not provide any information about who owns the building. Two males were also inside at the time the Sheriff's Office Tactical Operations Team entered the building. A press release said the interior structure was secured and the Criminal Investigative Division entered to collect and preserve the evidence. During this time, two additional "Johns" entered. These men were questioned and released, Whittemore said. The females are currently being held in the Mecklenburg County Jail under a $25,000 bond. Q-Sex News An Anti-Porn Movement In Ohio Butler, OH: Anti-pornography activists mailed letters last week to about 6,000 Butler County residences telling them which shops and hotels offer pornographic movies and requesting they boycott them. Phil Burress, president of Citizens for Community Values (CCV), said it's part of the group’s ongoing campaign to crack down on pornographic businesses in Butler County. In all, CCV has sent out 12,000 letters to homes since the campaign began earlier this summer. The group plans to use billboards, more mailers and newspaper ads to make its point. Next, it will talk with church pastors in the coming weeks who then will educate their congregation about the problem, Burress said. The group also wants more enforcement from the Butler County sheriff and prosecutor. In 2000, the citizen group found 11 stores selling what it considers obscene material. Some of those businesses have since closed, Burress said. Twenty businesses, including seven hotels, either sell or rent pornographic materials in the county, he said. Burress also claims Butler County has six businesses that exclusively sell hard-core pornography, which he says is more than all the rest of Greater Cincinnati combined.
