Interview with Porn Star Shy Love By Rick Ryan She cuts quite an imposing figure, does Shy Love. And while this fact comes across rather impressively in her movies and magazine layouts, you really need to see this German cutie in the flesh to appreciate her womanly physique. Not wishing to seem as though we're stating the obvious, Shy Love is one very horny lady. She's been in over 300 XXX films, has hosted her very own Television Show on Playboy TV entitled "Spice Hotel," and she's always hungry for more.  Shy Love was born in Wiesbadden, Hessen, Germany in November of 1978. Her father was in the US Army and was stationed there in the late 70's. After seven years, the family including 6 sisters was relocated to the US. Shy essentially grew up in New Haven, Connecticut.
I caught up with Shy Love after one of her performances in Kansas City, Missouri. It was her first visit to the "Show Me State." RICK RYAN: Today is June 15, 2006 and I'm here at Bazooka Showgirls talking with Shy Love. Shy, why don't we start out by telling people where your originally from. SHY LOVE: I was born in Germany and am Sicilian/Puerto Rican and from there I moved to Connecticut, Florida and now I live in Los Angeles. RICK: Were you a typical school kid? SHY: Yes I was and I was actually a nerd.  RICK: I heard that you actually went into college at a fairly early age and got a Bachelors Degree.SHY: I did and I went to college at 16 going on 17 and I got a Bachelors and 2 Masters. RICK: Now what was the Bachelor's Degree in? SHY: The Bachelors Degree was in accounting and the Masters Degree is also in accounting. RICK: Cool. Now how in the world did you ever get into the adult industry? SHY: I kind of got fired for having a boob job and fell into porn. RICK: What? Can you explain that? SHY: My employer decided to terminate me from my 6 figure income position to save face with the less attractive Executives. This happen in 2003.  RICK: Now you've been in porn since 2003?SHY: Yes, I've been in porn since 2003. Actually October of 2003 and still in it running hard. AT that time I had moved from Florida to Los Angeles seeking a career as an Adult Magazine Model. That quickly turned into a career in the Adult Film Industry. RICK: What companies have you worked for so far? SHY: I've worked for Vivid, Pureplay, Wicked, Playboy, Red Light, Hustler and several more. RICK: You've also been interviewed on Television, right? SHY: Yes. I've been interviewed on Entertainment Tonight and Extra.  Rick: Now recently you went out to Denver, Colorado and did some work for a company called Porno Pro Wrestling?S: Yes I did. It was something completely different from what I expected, but yes. RICK: Well tell me about that experience, who did you wrestle and how did it go? SHY: I wrestled Rita Faltoyano. At first it was not what we expected. One of my good friends and I ended up in a little bit of a fight there, then we got trained correctly by a wrestler. And it actually came out pretty good. RICK: Well... that is good. When you are not out on the road, when you are just home chilling out, what do you enjoy doing? SHY: Barbecuing in my backyard and swimming in my pool while reading a book.  RICK: Do you have any pets?SHY: I have two dogs. One named Elmo and one named Grover. RICK: Do you watch much TV? SHY: I watch TV because I Tivo everything but it is just when I get in town. I get a couple of hours here and there. RICK: Do you have a favorite TV show? SHY: Yes all the CSI's - CSI Miami, CSI Las Vegas. RICK: Do you keep up much with American Idol? SHY: No, I do not watch American Idol.  RICK: What type of foods do you enjoy eating?SHY: I don't eat meat because it makes me sick. Typically anything with garlic and pasta. RICK: So you are more or less a vegetarian? SHY: No, I eat a ton of fish. I'm a sushi queen. RICK: What type of music do you enjoy dancing to? SHY: I prefer rock to anything else.  RICK: Do you ever go out to clubs and dance?SHY: I go probably about one weekend a month or one weekend every other month and I typically take one night and I do go out to a club and dance. RICK: Is there a favorite club in the LA area that you go to? SHY: My favorite club is the Day After. RICK: Now where about is that located? SHY: That is in Hollywood California and one of my best friends is a promoter there and he runs it. RICK: Oh cool. Now you do have a website address correct? SHY: Yes I do, it is Shylove.com.  RICK: Is there anything else you might be able to tell your fans about yourself that they don't know about you?SHY: I don't know, pretty much all my fans know everything. I don't keep secrets at all. RICK: How often do you go out on the road? SHY: I go out on the road 3 weekends of every month. RICK: Do you have a favorite city or a favorite club you've been to? SHY: So far my favorite club has been a club called Rouge and it's in New York. RICK: Didn't you start a production company earlier this year? SHY: Yes I did. I call it, of course, Shy Love's Productions. My first three contract girls are Brooke Haven, Nadia Styles and Jenna Presley. The first title movie was "That 70's Ho" and the second one was "Vicious Girls Gone Bad." RICK: Well, I wish you the best of luck with it Shy. S:HY Thank you Rick.
